AVAD Announces 2nd Annual Holiday Gift Drive to Support Big Brothers Big Sisters

December 06, 2016

Giving back and saving money this holiday season is as simple as 1, 2, 3

Los Angeles, Calif. – December 7, 2016

AVAD LLC, North America’s leading provider of solutions for the residential and commercial custom installation markets, announces their 2nd annual holiday gift drive, “Distribute a Smile,” to support Big Brothers Big Sisters locations across the United States and Canada. Dealers can donate items to their local AVAD branch and receive an array of exclusive deals from participating vendors for a limited time – easy as 1, 2, 3.

From December 5th to December 16th, AVAD dealers can participate by donating at least one unwrapped toy, gift item, gift card or monetary donation to a local AVAD branch. Although no donation will be denied, it is encouraged to focus on gifts for children 7 to 12 years of age. Also, gift cards and monetary donations are requested to value $20 or greater. In exchange for participation, dealers will receive 10% off products from all of the following generous vendors: HEOS by Denon, MartinLogan (United States only), Nest and WyreStorm. Monetary donations will be accepted through an online portal created in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters. To donate online in the US, please visit www.bbbsbroward.org/AVAD. To donate online in Canada, please visit https://bbbspeelavad.eventbrite.com/ for Toronto and www.bbbscalgary.ca/avad for Calgary.

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that every child can succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brother Big Sisters strives to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better. Big Brother Big Sisters matches adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ranging from the ages of 6 through 18, in communities across the world to develop positive and lasting relationships in the lives of young people.

“We are excited for the return of our holiday gift drive, Distribute a Smile, to spread holiday cheer to children across North America during the season of giving,” said Seth Evenson, Director of Customer Experience Management for AVAD LLC. “We want to thank our participating vendors for their support, as well as our dealers for helping us to make our second annual holiday gift drive a success.”

AVAD encourages dealers to participate in Distribute a Smile from December 5th to 16th at each of their branch locations in U.S. and Canada or online. Donated items will be given to local Big Brothers Big Sisters branches near the respective AVAD branches prior to the upcoming Christmas holiday.
