Onkyo, Integra Partner with AVAD

Audio and theater solutions from Onkyo and Integra now available from AVAD

Onkyo, known as a founder of high performance audio and home theater electronics, specializes in premium home cinema and audio equipment. An extensive line of Onkyo products, including receivers, separates,  and other devices are now available from AVAD. In addition, Onkyo’s popular Integra line, a premium audio/video line of world-class components, is now  exclusively available through distribution from AVAD. Integra designs and creates A/V components that set higher standards for system integration, upgrade capability and multi-zone expansion. By partnering with Onkyo and Integra, AVAD continues to hold a market-leading position by providing dealers with the best, high-quality products to meet customer demands.

AVAD Announces New Branches, Market Hires, and Promotions

AVAD continues to put focus on customer and vendor relationships

Scottsdale, AZ – January 18, 2017

AVAD LLC, North America’s leading provider of solutions to the residential and commercial custom installation markets, announces the opening of three new branches, Houston, TX, Englewood, CO and Charlotte, NC. AVAD is also announcing the hire of David Short as Territory Account Manager for Northern California, as well as promotion of Jeff Neilson, Manager of Purchasing and Planning for North America, and Mark Spector, Sales Manager for National and Large Accounts team.

AVAD is excited to announce the openings of its three newest branches in Houston, TX, Englewood, CO and Charlotte, NC. These locations will provide sales and consultation services as well as a just in time inventory assortment. AVAD anticipates more branch openings in the coming months.

In addition, David Short has been hired as Territory Account Manager for northern California. David is an accomplished sales and marketing leader, previously serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Digital Home Suppliers and Director of Worldwide Marketing at Velodyne Acoustics. Short brings tremendous knowledge from his time with several successful Silicon Valley start-ups, including Netflix.

Jeff Neilson has been promoted to Manager, Purchasing and Planning for North America where he will lead procurement and demand planning while supporting product lifecycle management and AVAD’s growing distribution network.

Mark Spector has been appointed Sales Manager for our National and Large Accounts team where he will immediately focus on our current NLA customers and he will also assume responsibility for managing relationships and business with the buying groups and other larger, non-traditional custom installation accounts.

AVAD Announces New Locations, Market Expansion

Many new locations plus expansion into northern Florida, new growth plans taking shape

Scottsdale, AZ – December 15, 2016

AVAD LLC, North America’s leading provider of solutions to the residential and commercial custom installation markets, announces the opening of new sales and distribution locations, as well as expansion into northern Florida, to serve more dealers more effectively.

Following up on its recent announcement of changes to strengthen its business model, AVAD is taking clear steps to enhance its presence in the US and Canada. AVAD’s aggressive market development and expansion plans are intended to position the company as the dominant distribution partner in the custom installation channel for both residential and commercial integrators.

AVAD’s new San Diego branch will open in December and will serve the greater San Diego area, which along with AVAD’s Van Nuys (Los Angeles) and Irvine branches will provide dealers across southern California with access to AVAD’s industry leading product selection. Also opening this month are AVAD locations in Marietta, Ga. (Atlanta) and Eden Prairie, MN. (Minneapolis/St. Paul). In January, AVAD will announce 4 additional new locations in Boston, Houston, Charlotte and Denver.

AVAD is also announcing the opening of its first new distribution hub, in Baltimore, MD, which will provide greater inventory availability to integrators across the eastern United States. Set to open in January 2017, AVAD’s distribution hub will consolidate inventory and streamline fulfillment. A second hub warehouse will open in Phoenix, Arizona in February of 2017. Additionally, a new will-call logistics model will serve current and many new markets across North America, further expanding the AVAD footprint.

AVAD is also expanding its market reach in northern Florida, with the addition of Michael Brickwedde, providing local representation to integrators in Tampa, Orlando and other markets in northern Florida. Brickwedde brings prior experience in sales and distribution within the consumer electronics area, including previous positions at AVAD, where he served as a sales representative for seven years, as well as 21st Century Distributing and Sound Advice.

These moves demonstrate AVAD’s aggressive growth and expansion plans by streamlining its current sales and fulfillment model, expanding its sales force and footprint in many new markets, and driving towards a robust digital presence with recent website enhancements.
